Person who manufactures/imports an existing chemical substance for 1 ton or more per year and completed pre-registration by June 30th, 2019 is eligible for registration grace periods.
However, late pre-registration is possible for cases below, through an identical process for the pre-registration completed by June 30th, 2019.
- Existing chemical substances whose manufacture/import commenced after June 30th, 2019
- Existing chemical substances that were not pre-registered due to low tonnage (＜ 1 ton/year), but are expected to increase in manufacture/import volume to exceed 1 ton per year

Review of Pre-registration Substance
- Check if the substance is an existing chemical substance and/or a CMR substance
- Check annual manufacture/import volume (≥ 1 ton/year)
Preparation and Submission of Pre-registration Application
